The national anthem of Pakistan was written by Hafeez Jullundhri,a celebrated Urdu poet known
for his patriotic poetry. He wrote the anthem’s lyrics in 1952, capturing the spirit of unity, faith, and pride
of the Pakistani nation.
The anthem was officially adopted in 1954,and it was first broadcast to the nation
on Radio Pakistan on August 13, 1954.
